Welcome to the Algoan Chatbot documentation dedicated to developers. The Algoan Chatbot offers an open development platform that allows easy connections to external services. You will find here all the information needed to connect your service to the Algoan Chatbot.
Algoan is editing a SaaS and Cloud based solution dedicated to online consumer credit application. Our solution consists of a chatbot that takes the end user (the credit applicant) through the entire credit application process with a personalized conversation.
Our customers, all financial institutions (the banks), can easily create and configure their chatbot with the help of our Editor platform. Algoan Chatbot and the Editor remove the difficulty of software development for the banks.
Connections between external services and the Algoan Chatbot are needed at several steps of the credit application process. E.g. the aggregation service (i.e. retrieval of banking transactions information), the scoring, the KYC and the electronic signature.
Registered services can connect to Algoan Chatbot. The developers of a service may be:
- A financial institution using the Algoan Chatbot, for example a bank or a broker. The institution must develop a service to connect its information system to the Algoan Chatbot.
- An external services provider. For instance, Oxlin's aggregation service for banking data can connect to the Algoan Chatbot.
- Algoan itself. Algoan offers a wide range of services including one that computes credit scores for loan applications.
